FuboTV is a streaming service that wants to empower customers to finally cut the cable. fuboTV aims to give sports and news junkies a platform to explore their favorite channels and find new streams. The brand wants to be the go-to service when customers need live TV or sports streaming service. With 100+ channels, live TV, on-demand options, and cloud DVR, fuboTV aims to provide plenty of options. See below for more information on fuboTV’s free trial.

A Smarter Way to Watch: Sign up for a fuboTV Free Trial

Are you tired of relying on an expensive cable package to view live TV? Do you want a new lineup that allows for simultaneous streams? Are you ready to follow all the top leagues on ESPN and finally get your sports fix? With a fuboTV free trial, you can use your tablet, TV, or web browser to watch popular shows and live TV channels throughout your entire household.

What is fuboTV?

These days, fewer and fewer customers want to pay for cable TV. With lengthy ads, high prices, and restrictive contracts, it’s no surprise that many customers and streamers prefer virtual multichannel video programming distributor brands. And while platforms like Showtime, the Disney Channel’s Disney+, Sling TV, and Roku offer certain options, they don’t provide the live-stream content that many cable viewers crave. On top of that, some of these platforms don’t work as well on mobile app platforms and have limited base package offerings for new account signups. If you’re looking for a live TV streaming service that won’t break your bank, you’re going to want to try fuboTV.

The Fubo platform wants to give viewers a chance to watch their favorite live sports, on-demand titles, and popular channels like TNT, TBS, FX, and more. Even the standard plan gives users access to plenty of entertainment channels, so each login means you might discover something new. One afternoon, you might check out old Cartoon Network shows, and the next day, you’re flipping between MTV, AMC, and HGTV.

Even though fuboTV isn’t a free service, you can still score a weeklong trial period. Then, when your trial ends, you can decide whether you want a Fubo Standard plan, a basic fuboTV membership, or the premium third stream option with added on-demand content. To get the mobile app, browse the Fubo Sports Network, and take advantage of online promotions; here’s what you need to know.

Step One: Click the “Start Free Trial” button.

Start Free Trail - FUBO

Compared to some live TV or streaming platforms, fuboTV wants to make it much easier to sign up for a trial. In fact, the Fubo homepage has two trial buttons that are easy to access. The first is in the middle of the screen and sits below a dynamic content banner. Sports fans and news fans can get a sampling of some of the channels and shows on the Fubo live stream platform.

The second free trial button is in the top right corner of the homepage. Both buttons are bright orange, so they’re fairly easy to spot. When you’re ready to move on, you can click the button of your choosing to learn more about Fubo’s special offers.

Step Two: Choose the right plan.

Once you’ve clicked the “Start Free Trial” button, you can begin to understand the differences between the Fubo standard plan and the other subscription tiers. Before you can start your trial, you’ll need to pick which service you want to test. As mentioned, there are the Starter, Pro, and Elite tiers and an additional Latino Quarterly membership that provides easy access to Spanish-language television. The Starter and the Pro tiers offer the same channels, and all three tiers offer three-screen simultaneous streaming.

However, the Pro and Elite tiers offer larger volumes of Cloud DVR space, which is great for viewers who like to save their shows for a later binge. The Elite level also comes bundled with 46 premium entertainment channels. Since the Elite tier doesn’t currently offer a free trial, it’s a good idea to test out the Pro model. This will give you the best gauge of what the service can do, as well as some of the integrations the operating system offers. To select this plan, hover over the Pro column, and click the orange and white button that says “Start Free Trial” at the bottom.

Step Three: Select your add-ons.

This takes you to a screen that allows you to review your plan selection. You can also select premium channel add-ons and upgrades. These include online sports packages for different leagues. If you want local channels, on-demand content, the MLB Network, or regional sports networks, you can review that data here to make sure you’ve selected the right options. This screen is also where you’ll adjust the family share settings for the family bundle. To move on, click the orange button that says “Continue to Last Step.”

Step Four: Enter some personal information.

Before you can start browsing the local channels and the Fubo Sports Network, you’re going to have to finalize your signup. On this page, you’ll need to enter your credit card information and also verify that you’ve read the site’s terms of service. While you’re at it, you can browse the brand’s privacy policy if you need.

Remember that you may see a brief one-dollar authorization hold on your account to ensure you’ve entered valid card details. This hold will go away quickly, so you don’t need to worry about it. Take a second to make sure you’ve entered the right credit card information and then, at last, click the bright orange button that says “Start Watching fuboTV.”

Step Five: Start watching.

Once you’ve started the free trial, you can browse the Fubo Sports Network, check out some MLS and MLB games, and catch up on your favorite television shows. It’s a great way to take control of your streaming back from the major cable providers. With a fuboTV trial period, the service aims to offer plenty of content in a convenient way.
