Baby Yoda reaches his tiny hand out to you. You close your eyes and realize he’s telepathically delivering all of the amazing knowledge about Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+. You begin to realize the gravity of content that Disney houses; Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Nat Geo, and more. You dream of the Disney+ Free Trial.

Feeling awakened, you open your eyes and quickly wonder Where is the Disney+ sign up? How much does Disney+ cost? Do they have a free trial?

We have these answers, young Padawan. Allow us to show you the ways of Disney+.

Steps to sign up for Disney+ free trial

Unfortunately Disney has stopped their Free Trial Offer in the US for now. However, it is available in countries where they recently launched! Enough of that, let’s get right to it. In order to start Disney+, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the Disney+ sign up page

Here you will choose between Disney+ or Disney Plus Bundle. Please note that the bundle does not have a free trial.

Step 2: Click “Sign up now”.

Step 3: Enter your email address.

Decide if you’d like email updates. Then if you agree to the Subscriber Agreement and Privacy Policy, click “Agree & Continue”.

Step 4: Create and enter a strong password.

This will be the password you type when you log in to watch Disney+ on your devices.

Step 5: Choose a plan and enter your payment and billing information.

If they re-establish the free trial, you can cancel before your trial ends if you decide not to continue with Disney+. If you want to continue with Disney+, simply do nothing and Disney will charge the payment option you provide here once your trial ends.

Step 6: Now go watch Disney+! Easy as that.

What comes with the Disney+ Free Trial?

The Disney+ free trial gives you full access to all of Disney+ content which has more than 7,500 episodes of TV shows and over 500 movies. You can watch classics like the Lion King and your favorite Star Wars movie, then jump into a new Disney+ Original show such as The Mandalorian or The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Disney+ is completely ad-free, so you won’t have to wait through any commercials or advertisements. You also don’t need to pay an upgrade fee like some streaming services require (*cough* Amazon Prime).

You can have up to 7 profiles on a single account with 4 maximum users streaming at the same time. This means you can share with friends and family guilt-free. If needed, you can always change your password with ease.

How long does the Disney+ Free Trial last?

When it’s live, the Disney+ Plus free trial lasts 7 days. This gives you tons of time to browse and binge your favorite shows before deciding if it’s right for you.

Disney+ Price

Disney+ cost is $7.99 per month OR $79.99 per year, whichever you prefer. The yearly plan will save you 16% which is just over $16 per year of savings. You could also think of it as getting over 2 free months of Disney+ each year.

Bundle Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN+

Disney+ currently offers a bundle package to give you the best bang for your buck. The Disney+ Bundle price is $13.99 per month which gives you access to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. However, the bundle does not have a free trial option available. Shucks.

With the Disney Bundle you get full access to all of Disney+, which has more than 7,500 episodes of TV shows and 500+ movies. Add Hulu on top of that and you’re looking at nearly 60,000 different titles to choose from.

The cherry on top is ESPN+, where you’re able to stream live sporting events, such as UFC fights, NCAA football, baseball, basketball, and professional NHL, MLB, NFL, and more. Don’t forget the amazing documentaries that come with ESPN+ including their award-winning 30 for 30 series which has over 100 films.

Want the bundle but already have Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+?

If you already have a subscription to one of these 3, no problem! Disney also offers you the ability to merge pre-existing subscriptions with Hulu, ESPN+, or Disney+ into this new bundle. Once you purchase the Disney Bundle, your account will automatically adjust to make sure you don’t overpay. Disney will then email you a breakdown of your exact charges.

If you purchased ESPN+ separately through an app store such as Roku or Apple, then you’ll need to link your ESPN account to your app store purchase. If you need help, visit this ESPN support ticket or visit the Disney Bundle Help Center.

Keep your Hulu Ad-Free with Disney+ bundle

As it stands, buying the Disney+ bundle comes with the ad-supported version of Hulu, meaning Hulu will occasionally show advertisements while streaming their content. This can be a bummer for some people.

However, if you’re already paying for an ad-free version of Hulu, you can keep your subscription and still get the bundle by contacting Hulu customer support. They’ll take care of this for you and send a monthly credit for the bundle difference. The only downside is that you will still be technically paying separate charges rather than one tidy bundle – BUT this may be well worth it for those of you who want to continue with your ad-free Hulu subscription.

Verizon Gifts 1 year of Disney+ to Qualifying Customers

Verizon is giving a free year of Disney+ to their customers who have one of the following; Verizon Wireless unlimited plan, Verizon Fios Home Internet, or Verizon 5G Home Internet service. This includes both new and existing customers, very exciting!

If you have Verizon and you’ve already signed up for Disney+ you can still get the free year. To claim, simply visit the Verizon company site or through the MyVerizon App on your phone and they’ll take care of it from there.

Additionally, if you have a free year of Disney+ from Verizon, you can upgrade to the Disney Bundle for just $6 a month.

Compare Disney+ to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV+

We are truly spoiled with an incredible wealth of content through all the streaming services out there. It’s fun to keep up with the competition while we sit back, relax, and enjoy the shows.

Below you’ll find a chart where you can compare Disney+ with some of the other top TV & Movie streaming services. So why not sign up for Disney+ now?
